Micro-pay becomes Sage Payroll

Micropay has a new name – Sage Payroll. Don’t get a surprise as you’ll see this next time you update your software.

Although it comes with some improvements, Sage Payroll is used in the same way as Micropay.

Legislation

What will be updated is catered to future legislation such as the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, May 2018) as well as Revenue’s PAYE Modernisation Project (January 2019).

 

Sage Payroll – New Features

• Payroll Data Checker – Get ready for GDPR – this feature flags information which is older than 6 years

 

• Exclusion orders for PAYE held by your employees can now be dealt with in Sage Payroll

 

• With PAYE Modernization on its way, you can flag statuses for Proprietary or Non-Proprietary Directors

 

Sage Payroll is available with your March 2018 upgrade
